Zildjian have introduced a new line of K cymbals at the NAMM show with the new Kerope line. They have been developed to produce a dark rich sound reminiscent of cymbals from the ‘50s and ‘60s. The line includes 14” and 15” hats as well as 18”, 19”, 20” and 22” models, which are neither rides or crashes, but can be utilised as both.
Paul Francis, Zildjian Director of Research & Development commented “These are highly crafted cymbals that draw their inspiration from the very best cymbals in the Zildjian vault. We carefully studied every nuance of decades-old cymbals — their bells, profiles, hammering, lathing, tapers, and weights. Our goal was to achieve an old world look and sound being sought after by so many artists today,”
